Immediately following a flooding event in Croydon in February, 2020, the London borough needed to assess the effectiveness of the SuDS implemented at Bourne View Allotment, a hotspot known for risk of flooding. The council has deployed two solutions that help identify why, when, and what happens at specific flooding hotspots for such events:
