MTWE 2016: Discover time-enabled GIS, data analytics software, and instruments for (hydro)meteorologyAt the upcoming Meteorological Technology World Expo 2016 from 27th-29th October 2016 in Madrid (Spain) KISTERS will show products from its software portfolio for hydrometeorological information systems and data analytics and from its portfolio of hydro-meteorological instruments, and ESRI will present its latest GIS technology.
Time enabled GIS
Time-enabled online GIS systems combine geospatial data management with time series data management, providing seamless access to geospatial and temporal data from within a single graphical user interface. Time-enabled GIS solutions jointly developed by ESRI and KISTERS are deployed by public and private institutions to gain a holistic view on the hydro-meteorological cycle and its effects on water bodies and communities.
KISTERS shows instruments for precipitation measurement (e.g. hail sensor, and various rain gauges), water level monitoring, and IP data loggers.
The 2nd generation Hail Sensor is shown for the first time. The device determines hail intensity and pellet size, and it uses real-time data for instance to close shutters and to issue alerts.
Besides the well-proven KISTERS Water Solution and AquisNet for air quality monitoring networks, KISTERS proudly presents the all-new Data Analytics Platform. The platform will support you achieving your goals – whether you are with a public administration or a private company: An all-inclusive solution for data centralization, validation, analysis, reporting and dissemination. The added-value in Data Analytics Platform sits in KISTERS excellent understanding of the verticals hydrology, meteorology, air quality, and energy - and KISTERS embeds this knowledge into its software solutions.
